Task Force 35 Workplace Policy

1. Purpose
Task Force 35 is committed to maintaining a professional, secure, and productive work environment. This policy establishes standards for remote work, staff retention, cybersecurity, and general workplace conduct, ensuring operational effectiveness and the protection of sensitive and classified information.

3. Staff Firearms Policy

  • Open Carry: Staff may carry firearms openly on all company-owned or leased grounds.

  • Client Property Exception: Firearms are strictly prohibited on client property unless otherwise authorized in writing by the client.

  • Responsibility & Safety: Employees carrying firearms must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Safe handling, storage, and use of firearms are mandatory at all times.

  • Policy Enforcement: Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

4. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and personnel engaged with Task Force 35, regardless of work location. Compliance with these guidelines is mandatory.

5. Remote Work

  • Eligibility: Employees may work remotely based on role suitability, operational requirements, and supervisor approval.

  • Expectations: Remote employees must maintain professional work hours, attend mandatory virtual meetings, and remain accessible via approved communication channels.

  • Security: Employees must use company-provided devices or approved secure systems. Confidential information must not be accessed or stored on personal devices.

6. Staff Retention & Professional Development

  • Retention: Task Force 35 values employee expertise and experience. Recognition programs, mentorship, and performance reviews support retention.

  • Training: Employees are expected to participate in ongoing professional development, including cybersecurity, operational procedures, and role-specific training.

  • Feedback: Regular feedback sessions foster communication between staff and management, promoting engagement and retention.

7. Cybersecurity & Data Protection

  • Access Control: Employees must use strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, and authorized devices for all systems.

  • Information Handling: Sensitive or classified information must only be stored, transmitted, or shared via secure, company-approved platforms. Unauthorized disclosure is strictly prohibited.

  • Incident Reporting: Any suspected security breach, malware, or phishing attempt must be reported immediately to IT or designated security personnel.

  • Legal Compliance: All employees must comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding data privacy and protection.

8. General Standards of Work

  • Professional Conduct: Employees must uphold integrity, discretion, and respect. Harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated.

  • Attendance & Availability: Employees must adhere to assigned schedules, notify supervisors of absences promptly, and ensure operational needs are met.

  • Operational Readiness: Staff should maintain the knowledge, skills, and preparedness required to execute operational duties effectively.

9. Compliance & Enforcement

  • Non-compliance with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

  • Employees are responsible for understanding and adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures relevant to their role.

10. Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Vaccinations Required: All employees working in-person are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and maintain all other common immunizations, including influenza, tetanus, and other vaccines as recommended by public health authorities.

  • Verification: Employees may be asked to provide proof of vaccination or immunization status.

  • Exceptions: Medical or religious exemptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable law.

11. Review & Updates
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect operational changes, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices.
